A New Day

Posted on February 23rd, 2009 in Uncategorized by jefferywomack

I have not been very good at keeping up with my Blog, so now that I have a few co-workers posting to theirs, and I have attended David Warlicks workshop, I am feeling the need to get started and try and stay on top of this.

Thus far I have only used this Blog when I first got started and then when we were begining to teach blogging throughout the district, so for now it looks a little sloppy.  I will be make some tweaks to clean it up.

I hope I can begin to use this get some feedback on shift that is coming, we will either be apart of it, or be left behind when it comes.

Where will you be?

Hello,

My name is Jeffery Womack, and I am an Instructional Technology Specialist for the Birdville Independent School District in Haltom City, Texas.  This is my first official Blog, so be patient with me as I start this process.

Currently I am responsible for the Palm Handheld devices in our district.  I also have developed a love for GPSr units and the game of Geocaching, so I am currently working on ideas for implementing GPS units into the classroom.

I look forward to this new venture into the world of Blogging.

Jeffery
